The “Think Differently” ad campaign is widely credited for restoring Apple’s image in 1997.

The campaign created by TBWA/Chiat/Day and launched in september 1997 received critical acclaim, developed a large cult following and remained the centerpiece of Apple’s advertising efforts until 2002.
In the original television spot, a black and white montage of heroes, thinkers, inventors, and rebels filled the screen and as the inspiring images filled the screen, actor Richard Dreyfuss read a free-verse poem that reflects the believe in the spirit of discovery.
